Lady Gaga posted a video over the weekend in which she wore camouflage clothing and popped open a beer while endorsing Joe Biden to be president.
In the video, Gaga also encouraged people in swing states like Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Florida to vote in the presidential election.
While performing at Biden‘s final campaign rally before the election, Gaga addressed the backlash she received from Republicans for wearing that outfit.
“I put some country clothes on the other day and said I was voting for Joe because I wear Cabela’s [hunting gear] when I’m on a four-wheeler in Pennsylvania. And I will not be told what I can and cannot wear to endorse our future president. So this is what I have to say about that… I may not always look like you. But I am you. We are each other,” Gaga said while performing her song “You and I.”
During the performance, Gaga also addressed her relationship with her ex-fiance and apologized to her current boyfriend for bringing it up.
