A model was left bloodied after being beaten up and having her head smashed on to a desk during a YouTube livestream by a Russian social media star.
Alena Efremova, 21, was attacked by popular Moscow-based streamer Andrey Burim, known more widely as Mellstroy, during a social media party.
The abusive scenes, broadcast to his 680,000 subscribers, also saw Burim grab Efremova by the neck as other guests continued talking – seemingly oblivious.
The attack left a traumatised Efremova with blood pouring from her mouth as well as sustaining other facial injuries.

There were calls today for Burim, whose videos have logged 32.5 million views, to be blocked from YouTube and Russian police were last night probing his sickening broadcast, reported Mash media outlet.
Efremova posted: ‘Mellstroy beat me up last night and publicly humiliated me in his stream…
‘I just want him to be punished for this so it will not happen to any (other) person.’
She said that her brace had broken and ‘there is a bloody mess of iron in my mouth, blood and pieces of torn skin’.

‘I am deeply distressed, my limbs are shaking, my head is splitting with any movement.’
Efremova, who is also a blogger with 20,000 followers, added that ‘not a single normal person who respects themselves will remain in his audience’.
She called on others who have suffered in his extreme live streams to contact her and seek ‘a class action lawsuit’.

Expert Vadim Manukyan, on the media commission of the Public Chamber of Russia, called the footage ‘an absolute disgrace’.
Activist Mikhail Netsvetaev called for the prosecutor’s office to block Mellstroy’s YouTube channel.
Police in Burim’s native Belarus were reportedly seeking him for alleged online abuse of underage victims.
