Matt Damon and Ben Affleck tease each other in hilarious video

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck playfully tease each other in hilarious Instagram video as they team up for charity event

Oscar winners Matt Damon, 50, and Ben Affleck, 48, have been the best of friends since they were kids growing up in Boston.

And, the A-list besties are currently teaming up with Omaze for a new charity event that will raise money for the Eastern Congo Initiative and Water.org.

On Thursday, the pair made the announcement in a hysterical Instagram video, where they were seen razzing one another about their former roles as Batman and Jason Bourne.

Too funny: Matt Damon and Ben Affleck announced their new charity initiative on social media with a hysterical video of themselves teasing each other in a video which dropped Thursday

In the video the two Massachusetts bred actors, wearing simple plain t-shirts, began explaining how the Omaze sweepstakes works.

One winner and one friend will be flown out to Los Angeles, all expenses paid, and will get to have lunch with Matt and Ben.

Things seemed to be moving along quite well until Ben decided Matt wasn’t giving his performance 100%.

‘Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Cut. Cut. Cut,’ the Argo director interjected. ‘You gotta spice it up. You gotta be appealing.’

‘What do you mean “spice it up”?’ a confused Matt Damon asked

Continuing the bit, Affleck informed his pal that his performance was so lackluster that ‘no one wants to come have dinner with this guy’ and proceeds to direct Damon to ‘push it.’

Take two was no better and Ben stops down once more, feigning exasperation, to critique Matt’s delivery.

‘Dude,’ he sighs and tells him not to ‘act weird.’ Advising, ‘Tell them something they’re interested in like, “Hey, come see Jason Bourne and Batman …”‘

Matt hilariously cuts Ben off and deadpans: ‘Robert Pattinson’s coming?’ Without missing a beat, Ben quips back: ‘No, Jeremy Renner will be there, though.’

Last year British-born Pattinson replaced Affleck as the Caped Crusader in the upcoming flick The Batman, which is currently filming.

Affleck had played Bruce Wayne and his alter ego in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, 2016’s Suicide Squad and 2017’s Justice League.

Touchy subjects: Meanwhile, Renner replaced Matt Damon as the lead character in the Bourne film franchise but Damon pointed out that he ‘expanded the Bourne universe’ but didn’t play Jason Bourne (Left: Renner in The Bourne Legacy; Right: Damon in The Bourne Identity)

‘Well, he improved on it,’ Affleck opined. And, Matt quickly retorted, ‘Pattinson took your job.’

With banter like this the winner of the Omaze sweepstakes is certainly in for a once in a lifetime dining experience which will be held at one of the actors favorite haunts.

‘Matt and I have joined forces with @omaze to offer you the chance to come and hang out with us in Hollywood (once it’s safe to travel) and help @easterncongo & @water provide resources and support to communities in need,’ Ben wrote on Instagram (Pictured in 2017)

The money raised from the event will benefit two charitable organizations founded by the stars, Damon’s Water.org, as well as Affleck’s Eastern Congo Initative.
