Lucifer season five, part one, dropped on Netflix in August and fans are patiently waiting for the remaining 8 episodes to drop. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about the episodes in Lucifer season five.
Lucifer season 5 FULL episode list
As Lucifer season five was intended to be the show’s final season, Netflix ordered 16 episodes instead of the normal eight.
Fans were over the moon to hear Lucifer was getting the send-off it deserved, with the show’s writer planning to wrap up the story of Lucifer Morningstar (played by Tom Ellis) on Earth quite nicely.
However, everything changed when Netflix decided to reverse its decision to cancel the show and order a sixth and “final, FINAL” season.
Filming for the show’s original final episode was postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in March and since then, news of the show’s sixth series was confirmed.

Due to the delay in filming, the ending of season five could be slightly altered, to make way for season six.
Speaking to Da Man Magazine, Lucifer star Tom Ellis said: “We were agonisingly close to wrapping but lockdown beat us.
“So, we still have 60 per cent of our season five finale to shoot.”
He added: “For a long time we thought we were making the final season of Lucifer, so we decided to adopt the mentality of ‘go big or go home’.
“Subsequently, most of the episodes are closer to an hour than usual and they are packed with fantastic stories and performances.”
So far, eight episodes of Lucifer have aired on Netflix. They were:
- Episode One: Really Sad Devil Guy

- Episode Three: ¡Diablo!
- Episode Four: It Never Ends Well for the Chicken
