Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) had enough of Jamie’s (Alexander Lincoln) manipulation in Emmerdale tonight (September 22), and therefore reclaimed control by telling Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) it was he who left her for dead.
There was animosity aplenty in the previous episode (September 21), as Jamie attempted to prevent Andrea from seeing Millie.
Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) warned him against alienating Andrea, as such a thing could prove damaging in the long-run if she decided to get revenge and go to the police.
Jamie realised that what Belle was saying actually made sense, and therefore he sought Andrea out in the cafe, and apologised for his actions.
Andrea wasn’t sure if he was being genuine, but he put on a pretty good performance — informing her that they should try to get along for Millie’s sake, if nothing else.
Therefore, Andrea agreed and they put the past behind them.
Well, that’s what Jamie thought anyways.
The young man met up with Belle and couldn’t help but gloat about how he’d managed to pull the wool over Andrea’s eyes.
Little did he know that Andrea had overheard his hurtful comments, and — fed up — she hightailed it up to Butlers, in order to speak to Moira.
She wasted little time in revealing the truth — informing Moira that it was Jamie who knocked her down and left her for dead in the hit-and-run.

Moira was left in shock, but what will she do with this information?
