Parents charged with murder of three-month-old girl who died of 'severe' head injury are pictured for first time

A MUM and dad charged with murdering their three-month-old baby girl have been pictured for the first time.

Christopher Easey, 30, and Carly Easey, 35, appeared in court today charged with the murder of their daughter Eleanor, who died of a severe head injury.

Photos of the couple, from Terrington St Clement, Norfolk, show them celebrating their wedding day in 2018.

Baby Eleanor was rushed to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on December 18 last year after she became unresponsive at her home in the village of Morton on the Hill.

She was later taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge where she died on December 20.

A post-mortem found Eleanor died from a severe head injury, that she was malnourished and had a number of historic fractures.

Her parents appeared before Norwich Crown Court on videolinks from separate prisons on Wednesday.

Christopher Easey appeared from Norwich Prison and his wife from Peterborough Prison.

They spoke only to confirm their identities and were not asked to enter a plea.

No applications for bail were made.

Judge Stephen Holt remanded them in custody to appear before Norwich Crown Court for a plea hearing on October 13.

A provisional trial date was set for March 8 with the trial expected to last three to four weeks.
