Google Maps imagery has emerged this week purportedly showing an alien UFO base. According to Scott Waring of UFO Sightings Daily, the poor-quality pixelated photos show a suspicious speck on Saturn’s moon Mimas.

The alien life conspiracy theorist suggested this is a base of extraterrestrial origin.

The UFO hunter believes the unidentified anomaly has all the hallmarks of a hanger housing alien technology.
He said: “I found some structures hidden in a crater on Saturn’s moon Mimas today (September 12).
“I was using a Google Map and exploring some moons.
“I also noticed there is a huge black triangle spacecraft sitting very close to the buildings.
“I added some colour in the screenshots to help your eyes focus.
“It does take a bit of practice getting your eyes used to such detail.
“According to the Google ruler on the map, this city is over 100km (62 miles) across.
“And the black triangle spacecraft is also 100km across.”
The self-proclaimed ET expert proceeded to address claims by sceptics that no base is actually visible.
He said: “I understand some folks have problems thinking that aliens could build such large structures.
“But you have to understand, humans think in terms of 100 years being a lifetime.

“For aliens, they have unlimited time – they live forever unless they befall an accident.
“They can order robots to build the ships and structures and it may take 100 years, 1,000 years or 10,000 years, but it will get done.
“For the aliens, only a little time has passed, but for us, generations or aeons have passed.”
However, a far more mundane explanation for the so-called sighting involves the phenomenon called pareidolia.
Pareidolia tricks people’s brains into seeing familiar objects or shapes where they do not exist.
US space agency NASA said: “Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon where people see recognisable shapes in clouds, rock formations, or otherwise unrelated objects or data.
“There are many examples of this phenomenon on Earth and in space.”
