The pair stepped out for some fresh air on Saturday with Chris’ children, Apple, 16, and Moses, 14, who he shares with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

Dakota, 30, and Chris, 43, were also joined by other friends – who set up a picnic on the sand and enjoyed the afternoon, playing beach games together.

Chris wore a white sweater and black swim-shorts, adding a blue baseball cap to the outdoorsy get-up.

Dakota was in swimwear but flanked her frame with an over-sized black sweater.

She wore shades in the bright sunshine and her chestnut mane loosely tied back, the spring breeze messing it up.

They brought surfboards with them for their day at the beach, enjoying some exercise while they were out.

The show will be a mockumentary style show like The Office that will follow a group of hopeful rodeo queens ‘as they compete for the coveted crown’.

There is no word yet on what specific character Johnson will play in the series, which was picked up in a competitive situation with other networks/streamers vying for it.

It remains unclear when production may begin on the series, or when it may be slated to debut on Amazon Studios’ streaming platform.

Johnson plays Maggie Sherwoode, the overworked personal assistant to a legendary singer (Tracee Ellis Ross) who aspires to become a music producer.

Last week, Johnson took to her Instagram to support the Black Lives Matter movement and call for an end to racism.

”No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion,’ she began.

‘People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite,’ she added.
