How to get a free 10-piece bucket at KFC

KFC lovers can now get a free bucket of chicken – thanks to a deal from TopCashback.

The fast food restaurant is currently offering the chance to get a ten-piece original recipe bucket of chicken for £10 until June 21.

But you can get it completely for free if sign up to cashback website TopCashback, and then order through Just Eat.

The catch is you have to spent at least £15 upfront on KFC via Just Eat, but this £15 is then refunded via cashback.

So you can actually get the ten-piece bucket for free, plus an extra £5-worth of extra food and drinks on top.

And if the bucket isn't up your street, all KFC menu items are included in the deal, including its trilogy box meal and mighty bucket meal for one.

Just Eat does charge delivery fees depending on the retailer and how far you live from the restaurant, but it's unclear if you'll need to pay these if you take up the promotion.

We've asked TopCashback to confirm and we'll update this story as soon as we get a response.

How to get the deal

Here's a step-by-step guide to how to get the deal:

  • Visit the Just Eat deal on the TopCashback website here
  • Sign in or sign up for free
  • Then click through to the retailer page and place your JustEat at KFC
  • Choose your order and pay for it.
  • You’ll then receive your 100 per cent cash back up to £15.

This offer is limited to 5,000 people on a first come first serve basis and is subject to stock availability.

TopCashback funds usually take usually takes between two weeks to appear on your account so don't be alarmed if it isn't showing within seven days.

If your cashback has not tracked to your account after eight weeks, then you can lodge a missing cashback claim and TopCashback will manually chase your cash for you.

It's always best to use cashback for items you were going to buy anyway, and not simply using the site just to earn freebies – just in case there are any problems.

To see the full terms and conditions of the offer, visit the TopCashback website.

It comes as KFC has reopened following the coronavirus lockdown. We've created a list of the full list of branches that are open here.

McDonalds has meanwhile opened several restaurants for delivery and Drive-Thru.

And you can now get cashback on Brewdog beers, thanks to another deal from TopCashback.
