Princess Beatrice was due to marry her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on Friday, May 29 at St James’s Chapel in London. However, the outbreak of coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown has seen weddings across the UK postponed, with social gatherings banned.
As of yet Bea and Edo have not set another date for their wedding.
Last month a source close to the couple told People: “There are no plans to switch venues or hold a bigger wedding.
“They aren’t even thinking about their wedding at this time.
“There will come a time to rearrange, but that’s not yet.”

Waking up on your would-be wedding day knowing you cannot yet marry your significant other may be upsetting, however, there are positive ways to commemorate the day.
Lifecoach Carole Ann Rice told Express.co.uk: “There is a lot of sadness and disappointment, as this is a time of life-change and new beginnings and there’s also an anti-climactic feeling – after many months and sometimes years of waiting and preparation
“I’ve been suggesting to my clients to mark the day of the wedding.
“Perhaps go for a picnic, enjoy a gorgeous bottle of champagne or buy each other a gift or some flowers – celebrate the day.”
Princess Beatrice is currently staying with her fiance at her would-be mother-in-law’s home in Chipping Norton.
The area is located in the Cotswold Hills, and so is surrounded by plenty of lush greenery – ideal locations for a private picnic.
Don’t let the disappointment of the day weigh heavily on you – as it is an unavoidable occasion.
Instead, think of a positive way to commemorate the day and maybe even honour those in your wedding party.

Ms Rice said: “The disappointment feelings are very profound and you are also having to let a lot of other people down.
“It might be an idea for the family (such as the parents, the in laws, the bridesmaids) to also honour the day by sending best wishes and flowers to show that they care.”
Flower services like Bloom and Wild and Serenata Flowers are still delivering in lockdown.
If you know a bride-to-be who has had their big day cancelled, Serenata Flowers are selling a lockdown wedding bouquet – perfect to commemorate a would-be wedding day.
