NEIL ‘Razor’ Ruddock had told Paul Merson he was “dying” before getting “paralytic” in a bar with a bra on his head.
The two pals had a blazing row over Neil’s “out of control drinking” on Harry Redknapp's new series of Harry's Heroes.
Earlier in the show, Razor had revealed to his pals that he’s suffering from high cholesterol and has been warned him that he needs to have a heart operation.
However, it wasn’t long before the 52-year-old started drinking pints of alcohol and eating fatty food in front of his team mates.
Paul, who has known Neil since they were teenagers, confided to the camera: “He’s told us he’s dying.
“Yet he’s paralytic in a bar with a bra on his head. It winds me up.”
When Paul confronted his friend, telling him his drinking was "out of control", the ex-Liverpool player lashed out at him and threatened to throw him through a window.
“Don’t shout at me, I’m getting the hump,” warned Neil.
‘I’ll throw you through that window.’
Thankfully, the two long-time friends made up at a lunch the following day and Paul broke down in tears as he and Neil sorted things out.
"I'm sorry I overreacted mate, it just got to me," Ruddock said.
As Merson sobbed, Ruddock reassured him: "It's alright pal."
Merson explained he just wants his old friend to get better and beat the booze after he battled his own addiction.
The pair clashed after Ruddock, 52, downed shots and pints with a bra on his head.
Ex-Arsenal ace Merson, 52, later warned his pal his drinking is out of control.
The footie hardman, more than a stone heavier than on last year’s show, yelled: “Don’t shout at me or I’ll get the hump with you.
"I’ll throw you out the f*****g door. This gives me the hump. F**k off.”
He then stormed off, leaving Merson in tears.
Ruddock weeps as he tells viewers: “I’ve just had a barney with Merse. We love each other. We’ve known each other since we were 16.
“It’s all right if it’s people you don’t really know telling you ‘do this, do that’, but when it comes from someone you love, that’s why it hurts so much. It got to me.”
