'The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable – Ever!': Which Seasons Will Air This Summer for One Night Recaps?

The Bachelor fans are ready for a new show. Hopefuls thought we might see The Bachelorette with Clare Crawley or Bachelor In Paradise this summer. However, the coronavirus (COVID-19) shut down production. Instead, Chris Harrison is hosting The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable — Ever! with virtual updates on the fan-favorites from each season.

What is ‘The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable — Ever!’ and when will it air?

The Bachelor’s new greatest hits show will premiere on June 8, 2020. It will include 10 episodes, ending on August 10, 2020. Chris Harrison will host the show from outside the famous Bachelor Mansion with a small production crew and social distancing guidelines.

Each three-hour-long episode will include a full recap of one entire season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette

“Our thought was let’s just give them a little taste of some of these great seasons, do something different in a bite-sized format,” Harrison told Variety. “We’re going to see the entire journey of one season in a single night, and along the way, talk to some of the characters, find out what they’re doing, where they are now, and what those moments meant to them.”

Harrison added that some of the younger generations might have missed older seasons. It will be a chance to catch up on the best seasons from the past.

“It’ll be all the good parts that you like with none of the filler, added ABC’s reality programming chief, Rob Mills.

Which seasons will be on ‘The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable — Ever!’

10 previous seasons of the show’s franchise will air over the summer. Season 18 of The Bachelor with Juan Pablo Galavis will be included because of our future Bachelorette, Clare Crawley.

Other seasons that are on the list include the very first seasons of both The Bachelor — with Alex Michel — and The Bachelorette — with Trista Sutter. The Bachelorette Season 11 with Kaitlyn Bristowe is on the list as well as The Bachelor Season 17 with Sean Lowe.

The Bachelor Season 20 with newly engaged Ben Higgins is also on the list of shows to have a recap and updated edition. With 24 seasons of The Bachelor and 15 seasons of The Bachelorette to choose from, we know not all seasons will have a recap edition. Peter Weber’s season will not air since it was on recently.

How is Chris Harrison and ‘The Bachelor’ producers choosing which seasons to recap?

For the past several weeks, Harrison and Mills have been asking fans on Twitter which seasons they would want to rewatch. Not only did fans throw out favorites like Colton Underwood, but they want to see other past shows, including The Bachelor Pad.

“I’m totally with you on this!” tweeted one fan. “I miss #BachelorPad. It was bonkers and the last finale was hilarious! The shock on her face was priceless, especially after her behavior toward him.”

The Bachelor Pad was a reality game show that debuted in August 2010. It included past contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and helped paved the way for Bachelor In Paradise.

“Please tell me Jillian’s season will be featured,” another fan added. “I just watched Jason’s season on Netflix, and hers isn’t available to watch ANYWHERE!”

While fans continue to weigh in, we will keep an eye out for an official list of seasons to be aired soon. The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable — Ever! will premiere on June 8, 2020, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
