Rachel Adedeji showed off her singing chops on ‘day 10’ of her coronavirus quarantine.
The Hollyoaks actress, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009, belted out a bit of Whitney Houston while in self-isolation.
Her backing singers?
Oh, just her adorable two-year-old daughter Lillian and equally cute dog.
Rachel’s husband Jason Finegan shared a clip of her, clad in a dressing gown, absolutely smashing her rendition of I Have Nothing.
As Rachel hit the high notes, Lillian couldn’t resist joining in and their pet pooch started howling in the background too for good measure.
Jason captioned the chaotic – but brilliant – scene: ‘Day 10 and we’ve now cracked.
‘Wife on her knees singing with kid in xmas clothing and dog going nuts.’
Rachel – who plays Lisa Loveday in Hollyoaks – shared the clip on her own account too, writing: ‘Absolute madhouse during #Covid19.’
The soap star married Jason in 2015 and they welcomed Lillian two years later.
Rachel, who named their baby after Jason’s grandma, previously opened up about having the ‘baby blues’ after Lillian’s birth.
She told OK! magazine: ‘No one told me about the baby blues. No one told me about how hard breastfeeding actually is. The struggle is so real and I think people try to paint it as perfect; I’d rather people just be honest about it.”
She added: ‘For me, it was just crying all the time at first, but it’s gone now.
‘You’ve made this amazing human and you want the best for them, so you will cry and you might feel a bit sad but it’s okay, because it will eventually go.’
Rachel was recently embroiled in some drama on Hollyoaks, with Toby Faroe’s (Bobby Gordon) attempts to get closer to Lisa Loveday backfiring.
When Toby revealed he knew Martine (Kéllé Bryan) abandoned his long-lost twin brother Mitchell (Imran Adams) as a child, Lisa suspected he had a crush on the woman who’s actually his mum.
So. Twisted.
