“Saturday Night Live” star Chloe Fineman says she isn’t letting the coronavirus lockdown ruin her wedding plans — and is inviting hundreds of thousands to her big day Monday night.
“Tomorrow I gonna marry my best friend and the love of my life @shartyparty69 on Instagram live ❤️,” Fineman told her 174,000 followers on Sunday of her apparent live-streamed nuptials to actor Casey Thomas Brown.
The comical announcement shows the happy couple and their key wedding party members all in costumes, and it was not immediately clear whether the post was a put-on.
But the bride and groom both identified each other — as opposed to characters — as they gushed about their plans.
“OUR LOVE CAN’T WAIT,” Fineman, 31, wrote, saying their initial wedding plans were scrapped “cuz everyone refused to come” because of the pandemic.
“Y’all invited to experience our love,” she said of the stream set to start at 8 p.m. New York time Monday.
Brown shared the same poster, saying he would “get to marry the love of my life” — and joking that they are “registered at Cracker Barrel and Kohl’s.”
Maid of honor Hannah Pilkes predicted on her own Instagram page that it would be “the wedding of the century,” while officiant Sarah Baker said joining the lovebirds “in the bonds of holy matrimony” was “the honor of my dang life.”
Comedian Drew Droege was named the groom’s mom in the posters — joking that his role was “ruining” the wedding.
