Jason Priestley paid tribute to the late Luke Perry on Wednesday, one year after the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star died at the age of 52.
“I don’t even have the words… miss you my brother… May you Rest In Peace… #riplukeperry,” Priestley captioned a snap of the pair on Instagram.
Both Priestley, 50, and Perry appeared on the iconic teen soap as frenemies Brandon Walsh and Dylan McKay, respectively.
Early last year, Perry was hospitalized after suffering a massive stroke. His rep confirmed days later he had passed away.
“He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends,” a rep told Page Six at the time.
In addition to Priestley, fellow “90210” alum Ian Ziering posted a heartfelt tribute to Instagrm, writing, “Hard to believe it’s been a year since losing Luke. Though time heals wounds, the pain of loss lasts forever. Miss you so much pal. #RIPLuke.”
On Wednesday, Perry’s former “Riverdale” castmate Camila Mendes shared, “Thinking of you today…” on her Instagram story. Molly Ringwald, who portrayed Perry’s on-screen wife, also penned, “I can’t believe it’s been a year since we lost this beautiful soul. Your presence is felt and you are missed every day, my friend.”
In October, it was reported Perry’s two children, son Jack, 22, and daughter Sophie, 19, would inherit and split his fortune, including his home in the San Fernando Valley valued at close to $2 million dollars.
