Love Island 2020 final cinema screenings – where to watch the live finale

LOVE ISLAND 2020 draws to a close on Sunday, February 23 where viewers will see one couple crowned the winner of the winter series.

For fans that want to watch the final on the big screen here are all the details…

When is the Love Island 2020 finale?

The final countdown is on for the series of Love Island 2020 with the winter series wrapping up over the weekend.

Contestants will soon end their adventures in the South African villa with the finale of airing live on Sunday (February 23) at 9pm on ITV2- presented by Laura Whitmore. 

You can watch the show live at 9pm on ITV2, however, all the episodes will be available on ITV Hub.

Which cinemas are screening the Love Island finale?

If you want to watch it on the big screen, there are a number of cinemas nationwide who will be screening the finale live on Sunday.

You can watch the Love Island 2020 finale at Times Square in Newcastle.

The pop-up cinema in the square will be broadcasting the finale live having previously screened Valentines and Christmas films there.

The first 500 tickets will only be £1- with a free glass of Prosecco on arrival and a VIP experience for £10 offering seating around a real firepit table with free marshmallows to toast.

For those living in Ireland, IMC cinemas will be screening the live final from select cinemas across the country.

They are offering a Meal Deal option which included your ticket, popcorn and a drink for €7.50 (£6.30)

Where else can I watch the finale?

For those on vacation in Cape Town- you can watch the live finale of Love Island 2020 in the South African villa itself.

The tickets are free but you need to register here for a chance to be selected.

There will be a private screening of the ITV2 dating show in The Curtain Member's Club which is housed in The Curtain, a five-star hotel in Shoreditch.

From 6.45pm, guests can enjoy a screening of the best bits, a Love Island 2020 quiz (bottle of champagne for the winners) cocktails, food and free popcorn.

Boxpark will be screening the Love Island finale for free aswell.

You can purchase tickets for £10 that will guarantee entry and include a drink, box fit gym card and a Love Island Lanyard.

The event will be hosted by BBC Radio 1Xtra presenter, Nadia Jae.

What days in the week is Love Island on ITV2?

This is the sixth series of Love Island and the first time ITV have aired a winter special.

The Love Island series usually airs for eight weeks with a shorter run of six weeks for the new winter version.

Love Island 2020 kicked off on Sunday, January 12 on ITV2 at 9pm with the final episode due to air on Sunday, February 23 at 9pm.

The Love Island prize stands at £50,000- contestants can decide whether to split the money with their partner and receive £25,000 each.
