Kylie Jenner’s efforts to trademark her daughter Stormi’s name have been ‘thwarted by a clothing company’, according to Page Six.
The make-up mogul, 22, has applied to secure a series of Stormi Webster-related trademarks, including Stormi World – but her efforts have faced fierce opposition from a New Orleans-based clothing company.
Business Moves Consulting – which trademarked Stormi Couture shortly after Kylie’s and Travis Scott’s daughter was born in February 2018 – has filed an opposition to the reality star’s application, saying the move could confuse their customers.

The clothing company also claimed that Kylie has ‘no bonafide intent to use mark in commerce for identified goods or services’, according to the publication.
Business Moves Consulting previously battled with rapper DJ Khaled, who sued them in 2018 claiming the company was selling clothing using his son Asahd’s name.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has made a habit of going on trademark filing flurries in the recent past that included ‘rise and shine,’ a line that inspired countless memes in October 2019 when a video of Jenner singing the phrase to daughter, Stormi, went viral.
Just weeks ago, Jenner filed three more trademarks — Kylie Con,’ Kylie Kon,’ and Kylie Museum — on January 9.
Other in the past include ‘Kylie Baby’ and ‘Kylie Hair.’
As of a January 16th publication by Forbes, the young billionaire entrepreneur had registered about 130 trademarks.

Not all of her trademark ideas have worked out, which was the case when she lost out on a battle with Australian singer Kylie Minogue over trademarking their shared first name.
Jenner reportedly is planning out live events, including conventions, based around her wildly successful cosmetics, beauty products, clothing and handbag lines.
The filings were first reported by Washington D.C.–based trademark lawyer Josh Gerben on Twitter, who was not involved in the filings.
Friend Hailey Bieber, 22, also used Valentine’s Day to register the trademark ‘HB Beauty By Hailey Bieber.’
She’s also planning to use the name on beauty and wellness products.
Back in 2018, Mrs Justin Bieber filed documents to secure her married name, Hailey Bieber, to be used on a potential clothing project.
