Tim McGraw Reportedly Leaves Sony Music Nashville

Tim McGraw has reportedly parted ways with Sony Music Nashville after three years and one album.

McGraw and his wife Faith Hill signed a deal with Sony Music Nashville’s parent Sony Music Entertainment in February 2017. Hill, however, remains with Sony Music Entertainment. The news was initially reported by Billboard.

McGraw and Hill released their duet album, The Rest of Our Life, on Sony’s Arista Nashville label, which debuted atop Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart in October 2017.

Prior to his deal with Sony, McGraw partnered with Big Machine, where he released the albums Damn Country Music, Sundown Heaven Town, and Two Lanes of Freedom.

Most recently, the country superstar has released the tracks “Neon Church” and “Thought About You,” and is set to release the album, Here on Earth.
