A father who feared the worst when he noticed a trail of white paint leading through his house towards his garage was unfortunately right to be nervous.

Aaron Clark was instantly concerned for his beloved car when he spotted a trail of paint decorating much of his home in Jefferson City, Missouri.

And he quickly discovered his toddler son Cassius, 3, had covered the house, his prized vehicle, and even their pet dog in latex paint.

Seeing the funny-side, Aaron filmed the mess and posted the clip online, explaining that it was for all the people wondering ‘what it’s like to have kids’.

Showing the scale of the damage caused by little Cassius, Aaron captured  the substantial amount of white paint marks covering his light grey vehicle.

Following a tour of the now thoroughly-painted garage, he then ventured into his kitchen, but not before pointing out the door and door knob – which were also both completely covered.

Heading towards his back garden, Aaron then called his dogs forward and pointed  out that even his pet Alaskan Malamute, Lana, didn’t escape unscathed.

Fortunately, with a bit of hot water and elbow grease, Aaron was able to get the paint off his vehicle (pictured) and restore everything back to normal – but it took him a full two hours

Recalling the incident, Aaron said: ‘I was actually asleep, my wife discovered it, instantly burst into tears and ran upstairs to wake me up.’ Pictured: Aaron’s car when covered in paint

Aaron said: ‘At first I was shocked and devastated. But then I realized my son wasn’t trying to destroy my car; he probably was thinking he was helping or doing something good.’ Pictured: Aaron’s car after Cassius showcased his art skills

‘As I was documenting it, my wife started to clean up the kitchen and Cash [Cassius], who was covered head-to-toe in white paint.’

He continued: ‘It came off [the car] easily but still took two hours to get most of it; the hardest parts to clean were the tires and wheels.
