Jason Manford lets slip The Masked Singer identity spoiler amid Hedgehog claims

Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway spoke to comedian Jason Manford as he discussed rumours he is the Hedgehog in ITV's new kooky series The Masked Singer.

The bizarre show sees a host of mystery celebrities perform in over-the-top disguises which sees their true identity hidden away.

Over the past two weeks, the judging panel, which consists of Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall, have been guessing they think the Hedgehog is Jason due to how the spiky performer holds his microphone.

During GMB, Kate and Ben grilled Jason on if he is the man behind the mask.

Pausing he added: "Can I actually tell you if it's me or not?"

"No, it's not me.

"I didn't even know what it was. I kept getting messages on my phone about it but no, I am not a tree unfortunately."
