If you’ve just treated yourself to a shiny new Samsung 4K TV you might want to look away now. The Korean firm is renowned for pushing the boundaries of its television technology with ground-breaking upgrades arriving each year and we could get our first glimpse of what is to come in 2020 over the next few days.
The CES technology show is about to open its doors in Las Vegas and Samsung has a major keynote planned for this yearly gadget extravaganza.
CES is where many manufacturers, including Samsung, reveal their plans for the year with TVs often taking centre stage.
Although nothing has yet been confirmed there are plenty of rumours about what could be unveiled including a stunning Samsung telly with no bezels around the screen.
The rumours about this new goggle-box first appeared on German website 4kfilme.de, with images of how it could look also being published online.
The photos clearly show a display that pushes to the very edge of the TV with no sign of any irritating black bars surrounding the screen. If true, it could offer one of the most immersive experiences ever seen on a home TV.

Express.co.uk is heading to the bright lights of Las Vegas and will be bringing you all of the latest news live from CES 2020.
Along with Samsung revealing all, LG has also announced it will be showing off its latest TVs with the company boasting that it will be delivering the “real 8K experience”.
The Korean firm says it will introduce its expanded 8K TV lineup this week at CES 2020 with new 77- and 65-inch models joining LG’s existing 88- and 75-inch screen sizes.
LG’s latest 8K TVs also feature upgraded performance thanks to the new (Alpha) 9 Gen 3 AI Processor.
Along with pin-sharp 8K, these tellies will also leverage deep learning technology to deliver optimised picture and sound quality for all types of content through AI-based 8K upscaling.
Based on an intelligent deep learning network, AI 8K upscaling delivers vivid and accurate 8K images by analysing the content and applying Quad Step Noise Reduction and frequency-based Sharpness Enhancer to increase lower resolution content to near 8K perfection.
“LG is deeply committed to providing consumers with an outstanding viewing experience,” said Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Home Entertainment Company.
“With LG 8K OLED and NanoCell TVs, customers can know they are getting future-proofed products that will deliver mesmerising picture quality regardless of the format.”
