“We were trapped upside down in our seatbelts. People were so good to us."
She has now shared footage of the incident in a bid to help police catch the driver who fled the scene.
In a Facebook post, Linda made a plea for anyone with information to give it to police.
She said: "My husband and I were involved in a serious crash last Sunday 22 December 2019 on J19 / M62 roundabout at 15.23.
"We were on the roundabout travelling home to Midd from Heywood and were hit from behind by a white VW Golf coming off the M62 Westbound exit slipway.
"It's pretty scary. Unbelievably, we are both ok; just shock and bruises.
"We've got no registration number. Did you see anything?"
Greater Manchester Police are investigating.
