It was a not-so-humble brag.
Jenny McCarthy took to Twitter Wednesday to boast about a huge tip her husband Donnie Wahlberg left for his IHOP waitress in St. Charles, Illinois on New Year’s Day.
The pictured receipt showed the 50-year-old New Kids On The Block founding member had indeed left the server a whopping $2020 tip on their order.

The tip, for ‘Betheny’, was accompanied by a note that read, ‘Happy New Year 2020 TIP CHALLENGE [SMILEY FACE]’.
The amount equated to a whopping 2574.88% tip, well above the customary 15%-20% for most wait staff in the United States.
The TV personality captioned her post, ‘@DonnieWahlberg starting 2020 off like the amazing man he is. #ihop #2020tipchallenge [KISSES EMOJI]’.

The meal followed the first New Year’s Eve in 10 years where Jenny didn’t co-host Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve TV special.
Not that she or her family were complaining.
Her husband of five years told Closer Weekly: ‘It’s amazing. To be able to spend some time together this Christmas and not have to think, “We have to leave tomorrow for Times Square for New Year’s Eve.”‘
‘You know, it’s going to be the first New Year’s since we’ve been together that we don’t have to stop kissing at midnight,’ he added.
‘We won’t have Ryan Seacrest in our ear saying, “Donnie, Jenny, what do you have to say?” ‘ he continued.
Donnie and Jenny 47, share his sons Xavier, 26, and Elijah, 18, and her 17-year-old son, Evan.
