A medieval fortune teller made a series of devastating predictions for 2020.
In a chilling guide, written in the 14th century, he offers a series of predictions for the New Year based on what day January 1 falls on.
Going into 2020, mankind may be set for famine, disease, and earth-shattering events.
The guide reads: “If the first of January comes on a Wednesday, there will be little grain, and an abundance of wine and of honey, and the winter will be warm, and spring will be damp, and the autumn will be temperate.
“There will be an abundance of oil and everything, and there will be dysentery and great mortality of people, and in various places there will be great famine, and much news to tell.”

Baba, born in Bulgaria and dubbed "Nostradamus of the Balkans", shot to notoriety for her purported accuracy in predicting the future.

In 1989 she predicted two "steel birds" would hit America, which was taken as a 9/11 reference.
She said: "Horror, horror! The American brothers will fall after being attacked by the steel birds.
"The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing."
