Gemma Collins misses watching Dancing On Ice as her car breaks down and she’s stranded in Windsor – The Sun

GEMMA Collins missed watching her Dancing On Ice return as her car broke down and left her stranded in Windsor.

The reality TV star praised the hard work of the recovery serviceman after he helped fix the vehicle following an unexpected hiccup on the road.

Thankfully he was able to get her back on the road – but not in time for her to get settled in front of the telly for the DOI Christmas special.

At the same as this was all kicking off, Gemma was entertaining ITV viewers who were looking forward to seeing her incredible weight loss and improved skating technique.

She wowed in a fabulous pink dress for her first time back on the ice since she stole the show last year.

Of course, her dramatic fall live on TV during the series was on everyone's mind.

Always known for not holding back, Gemma confessed she thought she had DIED during her epic Dancing On Ice fall.

The TV favourite shocked fans when she tripped and fell face-first on the ice during one of the routines

Wearing a crown for her epic return last night, the 38-year-old star – who appeared in the January series of the show – was quizzed about the unfortunate moment by hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Reflecting on the tumble, Gemma said: "I remember thinking, 'I'm nearly at the end, I haven't fallen yet, this is a miracle, maybe I'll stay in for one more week.

"I got so excited, I just went too over the top with my movement, which you're not allowed to do in ice skating and my toe pick got caught – and bang."

She continued: "I thought I was dead. I literally thought I was dead.

"And [pro partner] Matt was going: 'Get up! Get up! Get up!'

"And then I just got up and I was just like: 'Oh no, my life's over.'"

The experience didn't impact Gemma too much though, with the brave star returning to the ice later in the show.

The self-proclaimed diva appeared as a Christmas fairy during past winner Ray Quinn's routine, and managed to seamlessly glide across the ice without a hitch.
