It's been claimed that Steve's wife Terri as well as Bindi and her brother Robert, 16, estranged themselves after his tragic death.
Steve's dad Bob Irwin is also said to have become a recluse since his son was killed.
Bob, 80, had reportedly not spoken to his Steve's wife or children for more than 10 years.
He resigned from the family zoo on the Queensland Sunshine Coast after Steve's death as it was claimed he was unhappy with his daughter-in-law's actions at the zoo.
