Google Maps users baffled over ‘Titanic-like’ wreckage seen off coast of Japan

The wreckage of "Titanic-style" ship has been spotted off the coast of Japan in a bizarre clip, a conspiracist has claimed.

In the past Google Maps has revealed hidden secrets all over the world, such as capturing a "flying rabbit's" tragic fate while crossing the road.

The clip begins with the TikTok user zooming in on Japan while using a map.

Upon zooming in to a harbour positioned on Oshima Island, a shadowy object is seen lurking under the water.

As the video zooms in nearer, it becomes apparent the shadow is shaped like a ship.

Despite other boats being positioned around the edges, the military ship-shaped shadow was positioned underneath the water's surface.

The clip was uploaded to Reddit only hours ago, and has since received an 82% upvote from the viewers.

One person said: "I've checked on Google maps. It's there."

Another asked: "What's going on in this video?"

It's not known what ship it is, or if it's even real, one person believed it could be a PC glitch.

They added: "No programmer salvage crew has been daring enough to remove her from the final resting place."
