Tired of shoving a chicken inside a duck inside a turkey every Thanksgiving? You’re in luck.
Pringles is hyping new stackable chips flavored like Turducken, that culinary chimera that’s somehow become a fixture on tables across the US come harvest time.
The brand announced its “epic” Frankenfood on Twitter Tuesday with the caption, “RED HOT TRIPLE BIRD ALERT!!! Don’t miss Pringles Friendsgiving Feast, featuring The Turducken Stack, dropping in limited quantities on Thursday…”
In accordance with the Thanksgiving bird triumvirate, the Pringles Turducken Friendsgiving Feast kit features three kinds of fowl-flavored chips —chicken, duck and turkey, according to the Kellogg’s website.
The differently flavored crisps are stacked atop each other — just like their namesake — and paired out with chips that taste like cranberry sauce, stuffing and pumpkin pie in the same tray.
Pringles’ senior director of marketing Gareth Maguire called the concoction “the perfect kit for those who are infatuated with the Thanksgiving meat masterpiece that is the almighty Turducken, as well as anyone looking to enjoy a new take on a Friendsgiving feast.”
This isn’t the first time Pringles has marketed hybrid holiday meals. Last year, Pringles released “Thanksgiving-flavored” chips that parroted turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie. The snack mogul also ran a 2018 Super Bowl ad featuring “Barry” actor Bill Hader compiling BBQ, pizza and jalapeño-flavored Pringles to form a spicy BBQ pizza stack.
“We pride ourselves on offering consumers insanely accurate flavors with endless stacking possibilities,” said Maguire.
A limited number of the $15.99 Pringles Turducken Friendsgiving Feast kits will be available at the KelloggStore.com starting Thursday at noon ET.
