MARCUS RASHFORD revealed where he got his inspiration for the outrageous free-kick he scored against Chelsea.
The Manchester United star's absolute thunderbolt found the back of the net from fully 35 yards out in Utd's 2-1 win – drawing comparisons to Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against Portsmouth.
Rashford has been in and out of form lately but, like his club, may have turned a corner with the triumph at Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old took to Instagram to celebrate his strike – and let slip where he learned his perfect technique.
Rashford referenced his brother and agent Dwaine when he wrote: “Class win. Class support. Class night. Hoe you enjoyed your bday @dwainemaynard.”
Leicester star James Maddison – who is top of United's transfer wish list and could complete a deal within the next year – was one of those to reply.
He posted: “Nah that free kick.”
And Rashford wrote back: “@madders been watching you mate.”

CHRIS SMALLING is doing everything he can to make himself settle in at Roma – including bringing his dogs over in a camper van.
The Manchester United defender joined the Italian giants on a season-long loan after realising he would not get the game time he wanted at Old Trafford.
Speaking to The Athletic, Smalling said: “My wife has always been supportive. She said: ‘If you want to move, we’ll all move. We’ll do what’s best for your football.’ I knew she’d say that, which I appreciated. So I moved.
“I lived in a hotel for a month and we moved into a beautiful house last week. It’s 700 hundred years old, just outside Rome. It’s surrounded by greenery which is important with our dogs.
“My mother-in-law has got a camper van and she brought our dogs here.
“I got back home at 10pm to see them for the first time in six weeks. The little one was p***ed off with me because I’d left her for so long, the bigger one was happy to see me.
“Everyone is here now and that feels good. I’ve had to change my wardrobe because I’ve been living in shorts and T-shirts. It was 28 degrees at the end of October – that’s a perk.”

MANCHESTER UNITED chief Richard Arnold enjoyed a plush meeting with Saudi Arabia delegates amid rumours of a £3billion-plus takeover of the club by the country's Crown Prince.
Mohammad Bin Salman has reportedly been working on a mega-money package to take over the reins from the Glazer family – a move 91 per cent of United fans want to see.
Those rumours are set to go into overdrive with Man Utd managing director Arnold spotted in Saudi Arabia holding meetings.
There is no suggestion Arnold's visit involved talks about a potential takeover.
In a video shared to social media on Wednesday night, Arnold can be seen meeting with high-ranking Saudi officials, including a “group of Excellencies” and “officials of the community and sports”.
The meeting is said to have taken place at the home of Faisal Abu Saq – a “friend” of those linked with trying to buy Manchester United.
