The Circle viewers shocked as catfish Busayo is exposed and meets Ella

Fans' jaws dropped when catfish Busayo was exposed after a face-to-face meeting with Ella.

With three days to go and £100,00 up for grabs, the competition heated up on The Circle as the players put their game faces on.

Tuesday's episode on Channel 4 saw contestant Busayo get blocked as she failed to impress contestants as her undercover personality "Josh".

After becoming rated the least favourite player, "Josh" was instantly blocked from The Circle.

Sammie (Josh) was rated a favourite player, followed by Tim in second place and Ella in third position.

Busayo referred to her reasonings behind joining the show as she learned of Josh's imminent departure.

She said: "Your privilege couldn't save you this time Josh and it's a shame."

Busayo was given the opportunity to meet one player face-to face before she left, so she decided to expose "Josh" to Ella.

Ella appeared totally shocked as she realised the single 24-year-old man from Camden she had been talking to was actually female Busayo.

The Circle viewers flocked to Twitter to comment on Ella's hilarious reaction and labelled it the best catfish meeting of the series.

She screamed: "Who the f**** are you?!"

One user shared: "BEST reaction to a visit EVER!!"

While another wrote: "LMAO. Ella reaction to seeing Josh!"

A third joked: "Ella saying 'OMG WHO THE F*** ARE YOU" is the highlight of this season."

After Ella and Busayo embraced in an extended hug, the pair sat down down to discuss why Busayo became a catfish.

She confessed: "I'm glad it didn't work to be honest, it is bitter sweet."

While Ella said she understood why Busayo did it, she admitted that it "broke her heart".

Ella also confessed that she thinks Busayo would have gone further if she played The Circle as herself.

At the beginning of the episode, Ella advised "Josh" to open up to the group in a bid to squash last night's Catfish accusations.

However, the rest of The Circle were not convinced after Busayo incorrectly answered questions about cricket.

Before entering The Circle, Busayo revealed she was joining the show to "shed light on white privilege in social interaction".

The reality TV hopeful built a profile as "Josh", a single 24-year-old from Camden, in order “to test the theory of white, male privilege”.

She previously believed "Josh" would be more popular than if she would have played as herself.
