Apple’s iOS 13 was released earlier this month and includes a number of features aimed at making your iPhone better.
Perhaps the most popular new addition is the inclusion of a Dark Mode which transforms the appearance of your device with a darker colour scheme.
You’ll find improvements to the security and performance of your iPhone along with refreshed Memojis plus a new Photos and Reminders app.
iOS also has a new default keyboard called QuickPath, which enables easier one-handed typing by continuously swiping across the letters of each word.
This works when the keyboard is full-width, or compressed to either the left or right hand-side of the screen.

Although this update brings a long list of new features to your phone, the upgrade has suffered from some irritating bugs which Apple is now trying to resolve.
Soon after iOS 13 was released, Apple then pushed out iOS 13.1 which included numerous fixes such as improvements to AirDrop and the ability to share ETA in Maps.
Perhaps one of the most serious was the discovery of an exploit that enables nefarious types to access your Contacts app – even when the iPhone is locked.
Now another update – iOS 13.1.1 – has just been released and, if you’ve recently updated to iOS 13, you should definitely download it right now.
Included in this upgrade are a number of vital changes which could help improve battery life and improve the Siri voice search feature.
Here are the most important updates in iOS 13.1.1
• Fixing an issue that could prevent iPhone restoring from backup
• Addresses an issue that could cause battery to drain more quickly
• Fixes an issue that could impact recognition of Siri requests on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max
• Resolves a problem where Safari search suggestions may re-enable after turning them off
• Addresses an issue that could cause Reminders to sync slowly
• Fixes a security issue for third-party keyboard apps.
To make sure your iPhone is fully updated you can simply head to Settings > General > Software Update.
You should then see the latest version of the iOS 13 available to download.
It’s worth noting that you should be connected to Wi-Fi and not in the middle of any important tasks as your device will be required to restart once the update has been download.
