Google Maps cover-up claims after figure ‘airbrushed’ out of moon’s surface

Google Maps has been accused of a cover-up after appearing to show a mysterious "figure" airbrushed out of the moon's surface, a conspiracist has claimed.

YouTube conspiracist Disclose Screen The Grimreefer uploaded the video only days ago claiming to reveal a man and his shadow positioned on the moon.

He said: "What do you see here? I see a large figure, it looks like the exoskeleton of a terminator.

"Most people will probably brush this off as pixelation.

"What makes this stranger, is, would you believe it has been airbrushed out?

"If this was simply a pixellation then why would google go through the trouble of airbrushing it out?"

The clip taken from Google Moon shows what appears to be a human figure standing at a 40-degree angle.

Two long objects, which look like legs, stretch beneath it.

The conspiracist turns the figure around, revealing the human-body shaped mark.

A horizontal strip was later seen wrapping around the moon appearing to be a photoshopped effort.

Over 1,700 people have watched the video which was captioned: "Large figure on Google moon."

One viewer said: "The shadows are breaking through the portal."

A second added: "That black-figure reminds me of that interdimensional stick man phenomenon."

While a third commented: "Unfortunately, and I am speaking from an insider's perspective – we can no longer tell what is real and what is fake when you're looking at any video."

It comes after footage from NASA's Apollo 15 mission captured a UFO "parked" on a Moon crater.
