Kim Kardashian is hawking waist trainers again — but this time, they’re of her own design.
“SKIMS is launching our very own waist trainer,” 38-year-old Kardashian announced on Instagram on Wednesday.
The KKW Beauty founder said that she always gave waist trainers as gifts to friends, and wears them herself to look slim and trim.
“To me they just make me feel really snatched,” she explained. “I would always wear a waist trainer when I just really needed to get it together when I really want to train my waist.”
The mom of four explained that the SKIMS version would be easy to wear and more comfortable than other waist trainers she has used in the past.
“You could wear this under something because it really is as smooth and not like completely seamless, but it’s as smooth of a waist trainer that I’ve ever seen,” she said. “And because I’ve worn them for so long, usually waist trainers are rubber-based and completely so hard to get on and, like, suffocate you. That’s not what the SKIMS waist trainer is. This one is so stretchy.”
The shapewear guru, along with her sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, has been slammed for promoting the use of waist trainers in the past; alas, it seems the critics aren’t getting to her.
SKIMS waist trainers will be available on Monday, Sept. 20 in sizes XXS-4X.
