Blake Horstmann was at the center of a lot of drama this past season of Bachelor In Paradise. And a lot of that drama centered around what went down at Stagecoach (he slept with both Kristina Schulman and Caelynn Miller-Keyes).
As this season of Paradise aired, Blake released personal text messages between him and Caelynn to prove the nature of their relationship pre-filming (i.e. casual and on the same page).
During the Bachelor In Paradise reunion, Caelynn got emotional discussing the text messages with Blake, and Blake stood by his choice to release them.
Then, during his September 18 interview with the Bachelor Happy Hour With Rachel & Ali podcast, Blake elaborated a little bit further on the timeline and severity of his relationship with Caelynn.

At the time of the Women Tell All episode of Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelorette, Caelynn appeared to be quite emotional, especially when discussing her relationship with Colton. But apparently, at that time, she was dating Blake.
“[Her behavior on Women Tell All] was a little bit confusing for me, too,” Blake said on the podcast, “because the whole time we were talking, she was in negotiations to be bachelorette and wanted to be bachelorette.”

Caeylnn’s desire to be the bachelorette was another reason Blake believed their relationship to be casual, despite what Caelynn portrayed in Paradise.
“She had asked me certain things about the [Bachelorette] process,” he explained, as he was up for the bachelor the year prior.
“She wanted to be the bachelorette and she was ready to leave and do that right away,” he continued, “but suddenly it’s, like, this very serious and exclusive relationship. Why act how you did on Women Tell All and the fact that you want to be bachelorette and months later, we’re in this very serious relationship?”

According to Blake, the first time he and Caelynn ever FaceTimed was December of last year. The two of them “talked until about mid-March.” He guesses they FaceTimed about “12, 15 times” during the three months, not “three times a day,” as Caelynn claims.

He also emphasized that Colton knew they were talking, as he was the one who set them up–hence his confusion at Caelynn’s emotional state during Women Tell All.
The Stagecoach incident then didn’t happen until April, after Blake and Caelynn had stopped talking, according to Blake.
The Blake, Caelynn drama was definitely the messiest of Bachelor In Paradise this season, and Bachelor Nation thanks them for it. But all’s well that ends well. Today, Caelynn seems happy with Dean Unglert, and Blake says he’s excited to take the lessons he learned from Paradise and move forward.
