If you love KFC, and you’ve ever found yourself strangely attracted to the kindly face of Colonel Sanders, there’s a new video game that’s just for you.
It’s called I Love You Colonel Sanders and in it you play a cookery student who is attending catering college alongside a strangely androgynous version of the Colonel.
There are several other characters who are your rivals for the sexy hot wings entrepreneur, and for some inexplicable reason a professor who is also a dog – and of course named Professor Dog.
The game will be available on September 24 as a free download from Steam.
The pre-release hype explains: "I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator follows you, a promising culinary student, as you try to date your classmate, Colonel Sanders.
“Throughout your journey, you’ll be faced with life-changing decisions that will affect your chances of friendship and love.
“But be careful! Your choices have real consequences with real animated characters’ feelings at stake.”
The game will feature 9 playable characters, cooking battles, at least one ‘secret’ alternative ending and a number of fried chicken recipes along the way.
The synopsis also promises that the game will have 11 herbs and spices, somehow.
When you successfully complete the game you will be presented with an entirely real degree from an entirely fictional catering college.
The game's collaboration between KFC themselves and games developer PsyOps, best known for their well-received Studio Ghibli game.
I Love You Colonel Sanders will run on recent build of Windows and MacOS and is an absolute must for anyone who wants to date a kindly old restaurant owner who has mysteriously transformed into a gender neutral cartoon character.
