Simon Cowell looks even younger on America’s Got Talent as Youth Choir leave judges in tears – The Sun

SIMON Cowell stunned fans with his strikingly youthful appearance on America's Got Talent last night as the talent show judge continues to turn back the clock.

Simon, 59, looked decades younger as he posed for pictures at the recording of the hit TV show in Los Angeles.

There was hardly a line on his smooth face or his taut neck as he flashed his pearly white gnashers for the cameras.

The tanned mogul showed off his newly slimmed down physique in a relaxed black tee, displaying off a spot of sunburn around his chest, and paired this with his signature boot cut jeans.

On his arms he sported trendy colourful bracelets that you would expect on a man less than half his age.

Simon's weight loss and facial transformation has caused quite the stir in recent months.

He has lost 20lbs after converting to a vegan diet which came about after he fell down the stairs in the middle of the night in October 2017.

“Within 24 hours I changed my diet and I’ve not looked back since. You feel better, you look better,” he said.

“I cut out a lot of the stuff I shouldn’t have been eating and that was primarily meat, dairy, wheat, sugar — those were the four main things.”

His fellow Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden credited his new bod to switching to light beer.

In an interview with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain earlier this week, Amanda said of Simon:  "He's drinking lightweight beer, that's the secret. I tasted it because I thought it was going to be naff, but actually it's quite decent."

But Piers wasn't so impressed by Simon's new appearance, likening him to a waxwork dummy.

The opinionated host ranted: "Simon Cowell has gone on this ridiculous… he claims it's a vegan diet, I don't think it is. He's lost all this weight. He looks like a very sculpted waxwork dummy now."

Piers's comments come just a week after Frank Skinner took aim at Simon's new face and said his new look was "terrifying".

The comedian is convinced the music mogul's surgeon was working "in darkness" for his latest overhaul.

"I remember Simon Cowell when he had his first face," he told Dave Berry on his Absolute Radio Breakfast Show last week.

"I’ve known him a long time. The current one is a bit Slipknot. It’s actually quite terrifying.

"It looks like his nose is juggling his eyes. They are at different levels.

"A man of his money you’d think could get the best plastic surgeon in the world."

Of course, the cosmetic work Simon has potentially had done been the subject of frenzied speculation for some time.

Dr Nyla Raja – a leading cosmetic doctor and founder of Medispa Wilmslow who has treated Mel B –  recenly told The Sun Online that she thinks he has gone a bit OTT with the Botox.

She told us: "I suspect Simon’s fallen complexion is a combination of weight loss and also too much Botox. Injectables don’t need to be overdone and they don’t really need to change your appearance.

"Simon’s tightened jawline would have been achieved through a combination of ultrasound and dermal filler to lift, define and reshape his jaw. A combination of these treatments provides immediate results which improve in subsequent months.”

Simon, for his part, isn't letting the speculation bother him.

During the taping of last night's America's Got Talent semi-final, he happily posed for pictures alongside guest judge Queen Latifah and was blown away by one particular act during the show.

Detroit Youth Choir gained a standing ovation from the panel when they electrified the studio with their goosebump-inducing rendition of High Hopes by Panic! at the Disco.

Judge Gabrielle Union was reduced to tears.

"I started off crying and then I couldn’t stop," she said, adding that the group "took us to church, took us to praise and worship … took us to a step show."

Simon Cowell agreed, adding, "This is as good as your first audition."
