KATIE Price is back in the studio once again as she continues her dream of being a pop star.
The Sun Online can reveal that the 41-year-old is recording a Christmas album this time round – in the hope of getting the coveted Christmas number 1.
The star – who has a series of failed singing attempts behind her – shared clips of herself belting out a tune, telling fans an album was on the way.
Mum-of-five Katie is working with international DJ and producer Chris Live on her latest offerings.
An insider told us: “Katie will never give up on her singing dream and as along as she gets to work with good producers, she’s determined to keep going.
“This time she’s doing a Christmas album, which she can have some fun with and it will hopefully do well.”
Her studio time comes just a couple of months after pop superstar Ed Sheeran was forced to deny he is working on a song with her after she claimed they had collaborated on the new album.
Katie has spent years trying to be top of the pops, with disastrous results.
In 2005 she attempted to represent the UK in the Eurovision song contest — while wearing a pink PVC catsuit and heavily pregnant.
In 2009 a non-auto-tuned version of her vocals in her duet with Peter were leaked.
Her wailing to A Whole New World went viral, with commentators comparing it to “fighting cats”.
Katie then released a single in 2010 called Free to Love Again, which limped in at No.60 in the charts.
And two years ago she sang new song I Got U live on Loose Women, only to be mocked again.
Afterwards she tweeted: “Enjoyed myself living my dream. I can’t win if I sing live or mime but I don’t care.”
