Pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh glows as she steps out days after revealing battle with morning sickness

Lucy Mecklenburgh has stepped out with her blossoming baby bump proudly on show days after detailing her battle with morning sickness in an honest post.

The 28 year old took to the streets of London as she attended the launch of Pandora's pop up in Covent Garden on Friday afternoon.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy — who is expecting her first child with fiancé Ryan Thomas — glowed as she made her appearance at the event.

Despite dressing in a stunning floating pink dress, Lucy's beautiful bump still managed to put itself on show, though slightly disguised by the pink floral print material, dripping in clear crystal embellishment.

Lucy beamed at cameras during her day out, managing to avoid the September showers, stepping out minutes after the rain disappeared.

Her ensemble was completed by a large gold hoop necklace and a snakeskin patterned handbag, which she wore over her shoulder.

Obviously impressed by the jewellery store's latest collection, Lucy left the store with a large bag full of goodies from the retailer.

Lucy and Ryan announced their happy baby news in an adorable Instagram post on Lucy’s birthday.

Sharing a photo of the couple holding a baby grow, Lucy said: "Best birthday present I’ve ever had," with a baby emoji and added: "love you @ryanthomas84."

Celebrity friends flooded the comments section with messages of congratulations. Made In Chelsea's Lucy Watson commented: "Congratulations!! so excited for you," with two kiss emojis.

The Only Way Is Essex star Courtney Green, 24, said: "Congratulations !!!! Lots of love."

While Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent, who is also expecting her first child, said: "So exciting."

Earlier this week, Lucy announced that her and her ex-Coronation Street star beau had been handed an envelope which contained the gender of their unborn child.

She teased her 1.5million Instagram followers by sharing a video of a white envelope placed on her kitchen counter and wrote: “Our bubbas gender in is here!!!! [sic]”, with a shocked emoji and blue and pink heart emojis.

Lucy then tagged her 35 year old fiancé in the video. Speaking in the footage, Lucy revealed she didn’t want to know the gender yet and teased the couple could be planning a big reveal.

She said: "Oh my God, my gender results! I wanna open it so bad! It’s gonna kill me this, I’m gonna have to hide it somewhere, can someone come and pick it up please and hide it for me?"

Earlier in the day, Lucy had thanked her fans for their support for her first pregnancy blog post about morning sickness and praised the messages she’d received from other expectant mums. Lucy told fans on her Instagram page: "I’ve noticed a lot of people have been DMing me saying it’s really refreshing to talk about it openly and honestly."

She added: "It’s still quite hard because, the first 12 weeks it’s frowned upon to talk about the fact you’re pregnant and I felt the same as well and you’re suffering in silence."

The star was responding to the praise she'd received after she opened up about experiences with morning sickness and shared a selfie of her leaning on a toilet.

Publishing the photo of herself in the toilet on her blog, Results With Lucy, she explained her battles with sickness since falling pregnant.

She wrote: "I’m writing this from the bathroom floor, which is where I have been for most of the night puking up.I am SO tired. Sleeping on a towel, on the bathroom floor, is actually possible and it’s not because I’m drunk…
