There’s another big Echo sale going on right now.
Amazon has just launched its nine-day summer event which is offering numerous deals on devices such as the Echo, Echo Dot and Echo Plus.
Savings include as much as £30 off these intelligent music makers with the entry-level Dot costing just £34.95.
This event began late last week with the offers available until August 30.
Amazon’s summer sale clearly offers some good deals but there could be a big reason why investing right now may be a bad idea.
Over the past two years, the online retail giant has held a major launch at its headquarters in Seattle and both have taken place in September.
These announcements have quickly become part of tech calendar with many expecting another round of big news in 2019.
If Amazon follows this pattern, there could be some Echo changes coming next month.
At each past event, we’ve seen upgrades to the current range along with all-new products being unveiled.
In 2017 Amazon released a refreshed Echo with a more appealing look and last year the Echo Dot received improved sound along with a stylish design upgrade.
There were also new products released in 2018 including the very cheap Echo Input, sound-boosting Echo Sub and improved Echo Show with a much larger display.
There’s no official word if Amazon will be holding an event in the coming weeks but it’s unlikely to want to lose its current momentum.
The Echo has become a global success with millions sold around the world and new updates would certainly keep the public interested in buying more of these smart devices.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens but don’t expect any news soon as Amazon is always incredibly secretive about when its launch events are being held.
Express.co.uk will bring you any news as soon as we hear but September is looking set to be a massive month for tech fans.
It all kicks off with the IFA technology show at the start of the month which will then almost certainly be followed by Apple announcing its iPhone news.
There’s also rumours that Huawei is planning a Mate 30 Pro launch event and then Amazon could the party with its new Echo speakers.
