The drama began as Caroline questioned Anton about what happened, after reports emerged that he unfollowed her on social media after she and beau Tommy Fury voted him and girlfriend Belle Hassan out the villa.
Trying to defend his actions, Anton told how it was his management team that had followed Molly-Mae on his behalf and that he at the time had no choice in the matter.
He continued: ‘Molly and I never even spoke in the villa. We never had chats. I have nothing against you but we never saw eye to eye
Staring at Anton, Molly replied: ‘I mean, I didn’t think you weren’t a friend of mine, I’m not gonna lie. I thought we were friends.’

As the audience reacted in shock, Anton once again reiterated that it wasn’t him who followed her in the first place and that the two were never really close in the villa, adding: ‘I never chose to follow Molly.’
When Caroline then asked whether he would now re-follow her, Anton awkwardly admitted: ‘No. I’m not.’
His comments left Molly visibly seething as she had a face like thunder as she sat with beau Tommy at their table.
Love Island fans watching at home were quick to pick up on the tension and they soon rushed to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One viewer shared: ‘Lost a lot of respect for Anton and Belle after they have treated Molly Mae this way. Not nice at all and uncalled for. Molly Mae hasn’t done anything wrong, shes a lovely girl and they’ve been a bit petty.’
With another asking: ‘Why did Anton unfollow Molly? Talk about awks at the reunion… Hes defo just saltyyyyy.’
‘Anton actually boils my blood. He tried to split up Tommy and Molly from day 1 (are we forgetting how he told Lucie to tell Tommy she likes him then told Tommy to keep it a secret. Master manipulator. It’s beyond me how he made it to the final 5,’ said a third.
