Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel have managed to mostly shield their 4-year-old son Silas from the public eye—so when they do share a peek at him with fans, it’s a rare treat.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2012 after five years of dating, welcomed their son Silas Randall in April 2015. Since then, fans have only seen snippets of Silas through the years. We’ve seen the family dress up for Halloween as the Lego version of Harley Quinn, Robin, and Batman, and the family even shared a festive post for July 4th earlier this month.
Well, sort of. Because when the family does share a picture of them all together, you’ll notice they never really show Silas’s face—and this weekend was no exception.
Biel shared a clip of an adorable father-son moment between Timberlake and Silas. In it, viewers can see Timberlake and Silas jumping off of a dock together. Biel captioned the sweet moment simply: “Jumping off the dock of the bay,” a nod to the song by Otis Redding.

Three years after welcoming Silas, Biel spoke candidly about what life’s been like since becoming a mom—and how Timberlake changed her outlook on having kids.
“Honestly, I didn’t grow up dreaming about having kids and having a family. I was so focused on my career and so focused on my selfish existence…but I think meeting my husband inspired me,” she wrote on Reddit in 2018. “One day I just woke up and knew it’s what I wanted to do and it’s been the hardest, greatest thing ever and I wouldn’t give it up for the world.”
There’s no denying that Timberlake, Biel, and Silas make one happy looking family. Here’s hoping Biel will continue to let us inside her family life every now and again.
