And Lucy Mecklenburgh looked every inch the radiant bride-to-be as she gave fans a glimpse of her engagement party to fiancé Ryan Thomas on Friday.
The former TOWIE star, 27, wowed in a glittering, champagne ballgown as she took to Instagram ahead of her star-studded bash on a boat in London.

Her features were accentuated with a rich palette of make-up which included a smoky eye and glossy lips.

The loved-up duo spilled the beans about the details of the proposal in a new interview with OK! magazine, revealing the logistics of the magical moment changed at the very last minute.

Ryan had originally planned to propose on their hotel balcony while two traditional singers serenaded them, however, after visiting the gorgeous Villa TreVille hotel earlier in the day, he changed the location last minute.
It was a race against the clock to set up their picturesque dinner date and he was forced to trust the hotel staff to create the perfect setting.
Lucy told the publication: ‘[On the balcony earlier in the evening], he said, “This is so romantic, I should have proposed here!” He also got down on one knee and pretended to propose earlier in the day as a joke.
Ryan added: ‘Over the last few years I’ve lost count of the amount of times we’ve been in a romantic setting and I’ve got down on one knee. It winds Lucy up!’

Lucy said it left her ‘mortified’ because he does it in public and everyone looks at them.
Ryan knew exactly what kind of ring Lucy wanted as the pair had discussed it at length – but the actor admitted his plan was flawed when Lucy suddenly announced she had changed her mind just a few hours before he was due to propose.
‘Awkwardly, a few hours before I proposed, she told me she’d changed her mind about what she wanted and now wanted a single diamond. A friend of mine runs a company called Bijoux Jewellery so helped me design it’, he explained.
