AS the UK bakes in record-breaking temperatures, trying to stay cool can be a battle.
We've rounded up some of the best holiday parks with outdoor swimming pools to try and make the most of the heatwave.
Temperatures are set to soar to 39 degrees tomorrow with people advised not to travel.
It could even break records as the hottest day ever if it hits 40 degrees – with the current record of 38.5 degrees in 2003.
Thankfully, a number of holiday parks across the country have outdoor water facilities to dip in and avoid the sweltering heat.
We reveal where you should take the family to cool off with a swim and a slide in the best holiday park pools.
Weymouth Bay Holiday Park, Dorset
The holiday park in Weymouth, home to a Blue Flag beach, has its own outdoor water pool joined by a lazy river ride for kids to flow through.
Too hot outside? There is also an indoor swimming pool which is heated during the colder days.
Weymouth Bay is also part of the Sun's £9.50 holidays, using just ten tokens or Sun Saver codes.
Presthaven Sands Holiday Park, Wales
Located in North Wales, Presthaven Sands also has an outdoor swimming pool with the gentle river experience which even kids will enjoy.
It is surrounded by miles of sand dunes along the coast with direct access to the sandy beaches too.
All of the family can join in, with dogs welcome to come along as well.
Bideford Bay Holiday Park, Devon
Just 15 minutes drive from the beach, Bideford Bay Holiday Park also has a large outdoor pool with a water flume and seating area for parents to keep watch.
The pool has a view of the sea, overlooking the north Devon coastline.
Thanks to its location on top of the cliffs, it is just a short walk to popular surfing beaches such as Westward Ho!.
Highfield Grange Holiday Park, Essex
Located in Essex is Highfield Grange Holiday Park.
It is easy to swim from the heated indoor pool to the outdoor pool thanks to the connecting door.
There is even a 200 foot flume for kids to plunge into the water on a particularly hot day.
Holywell Bay Holiday Park, Cornwall
Kids can make the most of the 300 foot water slide at Holywell Bay Holiday Park which whizzes straight into the outdoor swimming pool.
Heated during the colder snaps, the pool can be used whatever the weather.
Families can even head to the Cornwall Surf Academy just ten minutes away, found on the nearby beach.
Butlin's recently opened their brand new £40 million swimming pool complex in Bognor Regis.
Whilst it is just an indoor pool, it includes fairground themed rides and slides which weave in and out of the building.
There are also some fantastic lidos around the UK, from Plymouth to Stonehaven.
