Love Island viewers concerned for Amy as Curtis says he’s the ‘happiest he’s ever been’ with Maura – The Sun

LOVE Island viewers were concerned for Amy Hart as Curtis Pritchard said he was the "happiest he's ever been" after his first date with Maura Higgins.

Amy sensationally quit the ITV2 show so her ex Curtis could crack on with Maura earlier this month.

Fans were worried for Amy after Curtis, 23, gushed about his "perfect" first date with Maura.

The couple went orange picking together and a giddy Curtis told Maura: "I'm the happiest I've ever been."

He said afterwards: "I literally had the best date ever. It has brought us closer. I literally had the best date."

Maura, 28,  was full of praise for Curtis too.

She said in the beach hut afterwards: "The first date with Curtis was perfect. I'm just happy. I can't stop smiling."

However viewers were more concerned for Amy at home after their date.

To make matters worse they loved-up pair did not hold back with their bedroom antics under the covers on Sunday night's show.

One fan wrote: "Poor Amy, imagine watching Curtis say he’s the happiest he’s been in the villa with Maura."

Another said: "Amy at home when Curtis talk about how amazing his date with Maura was."

A third posting a meme of a man kicking a TV screen and said: "Amy watching Curtis and Maura."

A fourth said: "Anyone feel bad for Amy after what Curtis said about Maura. It makes me question if any of it was even genuine with Amy, if he is apparently having the best time with Maura. Like imagine how hard that would be for Amy to here."

A fifth chirped in: "Everytime I see Curtis get excited about him and Maura i cant help but think of poor Amy sitting at home having to watch this :(( "
