Brits are enjoying a couple of nice days of warmth.

The current high pressure is seeing Brits bask in 26C.

But with the high temperatures it also means long, sticky nights.

And it can also make for some uncomfortable hours in work, depending on what the conditions are like.

So what are your rights when it comes to high temperatures at work?

How hot does it have to be to complain?

Even though there is no official temperature limit, you still have the right to complain if you and others are uncomfortable.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) said: “If a significant number of employees are complaining about thermal discomfort, your employer should carry out a risk assessment, and act on the results of that assessment.”

It’s as simple as – if you’re uncomfortable, tell your boss.

If enough people complain, they have to make adjustments.
