Tess Daly and Vernon Kay got to hang out with Mary Berry at Wimbledon

Anyone who’s anyone has been sitting courtside at Wimbledon this week, but one person’s been having a way better time than anyone else, and that’s Tess Daly.

Tess managed to bag the best seat in the house, hanging out with none other than Mary Berry herself to watch Novak Djokovic take on Denis Kudla on Centre Court.

The Strictly Come Dancing presenter was joined by her husband, Vernon Kay, as they sat in the Royal Box amidst the other famous faces at Wimbledon today.

As well as the Great British Bake Off host, Hunger Games star Sam Claflin was also in attendance, as well as Carole and Michael Middleton, the parents of the Duchess of Cambridge.

Sam told Press Association why he’d come to watch the tennis: ‘[To see] number one, Mr DJ, Mr Djokovic.

‘I love the experience, the atmosphere of being here and witnessing it first hand.’

England rugby captain – and team leader on A Question Of Sport – Matt Dawson completed the star-studded royal box.

It’s not the first time Tess and Vernon have been to watch Wimbledon – the couple have been there almost every year since 2014 and are big tennis fans.

It’s kind of a big deal to get an invite to watch it from the royal box though, as it’s reserved for members of the royal family (obvs) as well as invited guests of the All England Club.

We totally wish we could be a fly on the wall for all these celebs hanging out – we have to know what Mary Berry and Sam Claflin could have chatted about!
