Zendaya has responded to Lindsay Lohan’s catty comment about her Met Gala dress.
In May, Lindsay took to Instagram to mock Zendaya’s Cinderella look, claiming actress Claire Danes wore a similar outfit first in 2016.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph on Saturday, Zendaya said: ‘I didn’t feel hurt by it and it didn’t make me sad because I have no idea what that person is going through.

‘Maybe in some strange way, that comment made them feel better that day. People are only negative because negativity is eating away at them.’
The star went on to admit the princess-inspired design was a nod to her years on the Disney channel, before now taking on more grittier adult roles.
Commenting on an Instagram post about Zendaya’s dress at the time, Lindsay wrote: ‘Claire Danes did that with [fashion designer] Zac Posen already.’
Response: Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Zendaya said: ‘I didn’t feel hurt by [the comments] and it didn’t make me sad because I have no idea what that person is going through.’

Zendaya’s dress was a powder blue Tommy Hilfiger gown with light-up elements hidden within the garment.
Similarly, Claire’s dress also contained fiber-optic elements that illuminated the baby blue dress at the annual gala in 2016.
