Rapist Laurie finally caught in Hollyoaks as his last victim comes forward?

Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor) has caused nothing but heartache since showing up in Hollyoaks — and has made a number of enemies in the process. However, could his past be the key to bringing him down once and for all?

Since his arrival at Hollyoaks High, Laurie has been an absolute nightmare for almost everyone who has crossed paths with him. The deputy head teacher has made inappropriate advances towards his colleague Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) and in spite her rebuking him on a number of occasions, he refused to back down. In addition to this, he also raped Sinead (Stephanie Davis) in a sickening act of revenge.

With Sinead currently behind bars, Laurie has once again managed to evade justice for what he’s done. However, he could be set to face the music when Sami Maalik (Rishi Nair) seeks the help of his previous victim, Georgia.

Determined to help Sinead in any way that he can, Sami makes contact with Georgia. Liberty (Jessamy Stoddart) intervenes, and — despite her initial hesitation — Georgia agrees to bring an assault case against Laurie.

Could Laurie finally be about to get his comeuppance?

He’s managed to get away with every one of his crimes thus far, but with Georgia coming back into play, his freedom could very well be in danger, as it would appear that she is the key to bringing him down.

What’s more, let’s not forget that Sienna and Nancy (Jessica Fox) are also hell bent on exacting revenge on the rapist, so perhaps Georgia could end up figuring into their master plan?

One to watch: Thursday 20th June at 7pm on E4.
