Ever since the British music legend first broke onto the scene in Take That, he was known for his cheeky antics.
However, he may have pushed things too far this time after sampling Dexys Midnight Runners smash Come On Eileen, seemingly without permission.
Taking to Instagram late on Friday night, Robbie live-streamed himself laying in bed from his plush London hotel.
Keen to tease his new music, he then began to play an unknown track.
“I haven’t okayed this so I don’t want to get in trouble but I will play it anyway”

After pausing the song, Robbie said: “I haven’t okayed this so I don’t want to get in trouble but I will play it anyway.”
The Rock DJ superstar then played the track.
Joining in, Rob sang the first verse: “She gets her money and drinks it on a Saturday. Her other friends just p*ssing the night away.
“Her mother says she has always been a disappointment. Another night another casual arrangement… We take off our clothes.
“But she is the best I’ve seen at singing Come on Eileen…”
The song then samples the chorus of the 1982 classic for a 21st century on the single.
After playing the full song, a sheepish Robbie added: “This is a public announcement, Kevin Rowland of the Dexys Midnight Runners I am asking you please kindly don’t sue me.
“Anyway, I did that. I have had it for a while.”
This isn’t the first time Robbie has sampled a well-known track in his music.
In 2016, Rob sampled Sergei Prokofiev’s Montagues and Capulets – the theme tune to BBC hit The Apprentice – for his lead Heavy Entertainment Show lead single Party Like a Russian.
Last month, Daily Star Online revealed how Robbie is secretly working on a Christmas album.
Despite bagging the Christmas number one on multiple occasions, Rob has never followed the like of Michael Buble and released a decidedly festive record.
A source said: “Robbie has been working hard on the album and has already written more than 30 songs.
“An exact release date hasn’t been set yet but it’s likely to be in the autumn.”
Confirming the record, Robbie said: “I’ve written loads.”
A spokeswoman for Robbie Williams declined to comment.
Daily Star Onine are awaiting comment from Kevin Rowland.
