‘He demolished our relationship’: KUWTK star Khloe Kardashian claims Tristan Thompson pressures her into forgiving his infidelities as she reveals he is now in therapy
Tristan Thompson demolished his relationship when he cheated on Khloé Kardashian.
The basketball player was accused of being unfaithful to the Revenge Body host just days before she gave birth to their daughter True in April 2018.
And the 34-year-old reality star, who eventually dumped Tristan amid further infidelity allegations in February this year – reflected on the fact she struggled to trust him again following the scandal.
‘He demolished our relationship’: Khloe Kardashian claimed Tristan Thompson pressured her into forgiving his infidelities as she revealed he is now in therapy on KUWTK
In scenes aired on this week’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians – which were shot before the couple split, Khloe’s best friend Malika Haqq, 36, spent time with her in Cleveland and the pair spoke in depth about the situation over dinner.
Khloe admitted: ‘It’s really hard to regain trust.
‘I’m someone where the energy I have towards True, that’s all that matters to me, and if that starts to be affected by me wondering, “What’s Tristan doing? Where is he?” I will be out in two f**king seconds.
‘I am in love. I know I love him, but still, I’m not gonna act like nothing’s wrong.’
Best friend: Malika visited Khloe in Cleveland for the first time since she gave birth to True
She worked on rebuilding her relationship with the 28-year-old sportsman but admitted he was pressuring her to forgive him and repeatedly counted how long it had been since the scandal broke.
And while Khloe appreciated the ‘efforts’ he had made to change, she wasn’t going to be rushed into making a decision.
She said: ‘He counts — “It’s been seven months.” I’m like, ‘So it’s been seven months. I’m allowed to do things when I want to do it.
‘He needs to know, “Your one stupid weekend… look what it did to three years of our relationship. You just demolished that. So was it worth it for you?”
‘I appreciate the efforts he’s put in. Like he does self-help and therapy… and he knows I’m still trying. I don’t have to come here.
Inside information: The actress said it was important for to know how Khloe was doing
‘If I didn’t feel anything, I wouldn’t be here. I still have to get to, like, the next phase. And I will get there.
‘I’ve always been someone who’s like, “Don’t sit in your sorrow. It is what it is, so let’s just face the facts and move on”.’
Malika urged her friend to continue to ‘face that uncomfortable music’ as Khloe acknowledged her relationship was a ‘work in progress’.
Khloe said: ‘We’re working through things. But I’ve also dealt with situations where I’ve ignored it. Like, “I forgave, so I’m moving on.” I acted like nothing happened and that did nothing for my partner.’
Her pal replied: ‘You have to face that uncomfortable music and you don’t get to decide when it’s played or not. And you know what? You can face certain things and get through certain things that other people couldn’t even fathom.’
In April 2018, media reports revealed that Tristan had cheated on Khloé with at least two women—something she found out just days before giving birth.
‘Khloe has always been really good at a brave face,’ Malika pointed out earlier in the episode. ‘But it’s also really important for me to know what’s going on with her on the inside.’
Good question: Malika asked Khloe if she was still in love with Tristan after the cheating scandal
She’d been concerned about her friend ever since Kim Kardashian, 38, shared that a blind psychic in Bali had said that Khloé had ‘hurt in her heart’ because a man had devastated her.
‘We had numerous readings and they were all so weird,’ Kim said. ‘She said that [Khloé] has been going back and forth, and can’t make a decision in the relationship—and I so feel that.’
When Malika inquired, Khloé initially denied that there was a problem.

‘Everything’s fine,’ she said as she made her bed neatly at home, and showed her pal her color-coordinated closet.
But when pressed gently by Malika over lunch, Khloé decided to let down her guard.
She was staying strong, she suggested, for her daughter.

In progress: In a confessional, Khloé added: ‘I’ve always been someone that’s like, ”Don’t sit in your sorrow.” It is what it is, so let’s just face the facts and move on’
‘Cheers to being strong girls in Cleveland,’ Khloé offered, as she and Malika toasted.
On a drive to the Cleveland Botanical Garden, Malika previously asked Khloé if Tristan knew they were going there with his daughter.
‘I just wonder sometimes if you, like, would love for him to be doing stuff like this with you guys,’ she posited.
Different schedules: Malika listened as Khloe casually explained that Tristan was putting his career first at the moment
‘It’s like, ”If it fits in, we do it, and if it doesn’t, I still go ahead and do whatever”,’ Khloé said. ‘It’s like, he has his own routine, do his own thing.’
She added that he had to wait until summertime to have the luxury of time off.
The couple split in February of this year after he was allegedly caught cheating again—this time with Jordyn Woods, 21, the best friend of her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, 21.

On the flight to Cleveland, Khloé showed Malika video of True crawling and took photos of the baby as she sat in a luxury seat, sporting a faux-fur coat and head wrap.
Khloé then posed for her own photo in an animal-print jumpsuit and faux-fur look.
‘Sold!’ she said when she was shown the photo. ’20 million jumpsuits!’ Right, True? Now you’re gonna go to college, Mama! Now you’re going to go to college!’

Back in Calabasas, Kim told her sister Kourtney Kardashian, 40, that her daughter North West, five, had become obsessed with camping after seeing the movie The Parent Trap.
‘Camping is literally the last thing in my life that I would want to do,’ Kim moaned. ‘Literally.’

When North refused to let the subject go, Kim decided to ante up and went shopping for camping gear with pal Jonathan Cheban, 45.
‘I want to make North happy, so I’m going to have to like, dig deep in my soul and find the like, nine-year-old camp girl,’ Kim explained.
Jonathan threw a tent in her cart, and added a Luggable Loo for outdoor potty breaks.
Last thing: The reality star admitted that, ‘Camping is literally the last thing in my life that I would want to do’
‘S***’s about to be real,’ he joked.
The two of them ate a freeze-dried meringue ice cream sandwich and eyeballed hiking sandals that Jonathan said would be perfect for Yeezy’s 2024 line.
He then cautioned Kim, who was wearing white snakeskin pants, to dress appropriately on the trip.

Tried it: Kim at her friend’s urging tried out the freeze-dried dessert
‘What if there’s hunters there and they see your pants and they just shoot you?’ he said. ‘That literally looks like a snake in the grass.’
After buying all the necessary supplies, Kim was shown joining her pals Larsa Pjppen, 44, and Tracy Romulus and their daughters on a ride to the camping site.
She showed them the air horn she’d brought to scare off bears, tested the Luggable Loo, and helped put up a tent in the wind. Later, everyone went fishing—but caught no fish.

Kim recalled her own fishing experience, noting how, at age 11, she would often cast a line with her stepbrothers. Kourtney and their stepsister Casey would protest the use of worms.
Via phone, Kourtney recalled the chant they’d made back then, which said: ‘Down with Kimberly. We must stop her. Don’t kill worms, Kimberly. Don’t kill worms.’
Once back at camp, the women tried to light a fire, but the lighter they were using caught on fire. Cold in the tent later, Larsa threatened to go home, but her pals convinced her to stay.
On fire: Kim somehow got the lighter to catch fire
‘Camping’s not so bad,’ offered Kim.
Then she laid down in her sleeping bag.
‘Oh my god, I thought I felt a spider on my head,’ Kim said.

Scary story: Kim told a scary story to the girls in their camping tent
‘There’s no spiders; they would’ve froze to death because it’s too cold,’ replied Larsa.
The next day, Kim was upbeat in her confessional.
‘We survived,’ she said. ‘We’re not staying for breakfast. We want to go to Starbucks, we want to go home and get in the shower. We did it.’
Mission accomplished: The reality star celebrated after they survived the overnight camping trip
‘I’m glad we got Larsa to stay because I really want to show the kids that there’s not always an easy way out,’ Kim added. ‘If we agree to something and we commit to something, then we’re going to follow through with that.’
‘But I hope North doesn’t think it’s a tradition and that we have to go every year, because that’s not gonna happen.’
Firmly ensconced in civilization, Scott Disick, 36, opened up about the new clothing line he was launching, called Talentless.
Clothes line: Scott Disick also opened up about his new clothing line Talentless
In a meeting with MJ, the 84-year-old mother of momager Kris Jenner, 63, Scott said that he had been secretly working on the line by himself for an entire year.
He explained the unusual name: ‘It’s a play on the fact that everybody has always said everybody in the reality business [has] no talent,’ Scott announced, as MJ looked at him askance. ‘Everybody loved the name.’
‘What if you used something with a positive flair, like Talented?’ she asked.
Secret business: MJ was told about Scott’s secret line that he had been working on
‘I’ve already started the brand and it’s trademarked,’ Scott pointed out. ‘Can’t go back on that.’
‘A lot of people didn’t even know I started this company,’ he revealed in a confessional. ‘I didn’t really want to tell anybody until I felt like the company was strong enough.’
‘How’s the sweatshirt line?’ Kris asked him in a visit to his house later.
Sweatshirt line: Kris Jenner asked Scott about his ‘sweatshirt line’ and he noted that it was more than just sweatshirts
‘It’s not just a sweatshirt line,’ Scott protested, adding that he’d sent her boyfriend, Cory Gamble, 38, ‘a bunch of stuff, and he lives in it now.’
‘Oh, it’s so good,’ Kris agreed. ‘I love what you sent me.’
She added that other people were writing her, asking about the line, and she’d had no idea.
So good: The momager gushed about the line and told Scott that people were asking her about it
‘I didn’t tell everybody within the family that I was doing this,’ Scott explained to camera. ‘I didn’t want anybody to feel like I was going to ask them favors. Obviously, I could be promoting my brand through my family, through their social media platforms and their fame, probably creating a bigger buzz and making more sales, and for me that was something I never wanted to do.’
‘You need to let me know, and the whole family, when you’re going to launch something,’ said Kris, explaining that she’d already ‘had calls and e-mails’ asking her about the brand.
‘You know what might be a really good idea, is why don’t we get you just to go do a talk show,’ she continued, her eyes lighting up. ‘Mainstream media, so you could get out there.’
No favors: Scott explained that he didn’t want to ask the family for favors to promote his line during his appearance on the family reality show
‘I never thought about doing that stuff before, because anytime I went anywhere to do anything, all I got was bombarded with questions about negative things… every BS story that was in a magazine or tabloid,’ Scott told her.
‘But maybe now that I am happy about life and in a good place, maybe you’re right—maybe I do need to take on more to get this out there and get more press.’
As he later walked through the apparel line’s main warehouse with creative director Alex Amador and director of brand partnership Jarred Balbas, Scott refocused on the bottom line.

‘At first I wasn’t terribly worried about sales, but now I realize that Kris was right—I do need to take on more, and get some kind of press behind it,’ he noted, repeating again: ‘At the same time, I still want to do this on my own without having to ask a favor from anyone.’
As the show closed out, he was shown conducting a colorful photo shoot at an aviation museum and talking to a GQ reporter.
‘I’m definitely looking forward to the future—growing the business, and taking it to the next level and seeing where it goes,’ he said.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians will return next week on the E! network.
